WORLD MARTIAL ARTS CHALLENGE

WORLD MARTIAL ARTS CHALLENGE

Founded by Kamisama following his retirement from Judo after the Olympics at 22 years old and founded the WMA World Martial Arts. WMA matches are won by pin, KO or submission. Matches takes place on a hard floor, no cage, no rules, no time-limit, open weight class, with only the WMA title at stake.

The goal of the WMA was to test his skills by facing champions and medalists from all dominant disciplines of combat from various parts of the world, such as boxers, judokas, karatekas, kickboxers, kung fu practitioners, sumo wrestlers, pro wrestlers, Olympic wrestlers, shoot wrestlers, sambo practionners, strongmen, and ex-football players.

After winning his first match, Kamisama awarded himself the World’s Top Martial Artist title. Courageously defended his title by fighting top notch opposition ever since.

Each of Kamisama’s WMA matches are huge success generating several millions of dollar.

After retiring from combat, Kamisama bestowed the title upon the man he believed to be Japan’s greatest warrior — Hitoriguntai, who was incarcerated at the time. Hitoriguntai never defended the title and was ultimately killed during UST 3.

After Hitoriguntai’s death, Kamisama chose his own disciple, Monsutā Arakaki, to carry on his legacy as the World’s Top Martial Artist. Unlike others, Arakaki has no interest in competing in the “barbaric” SLAUGHTERSPORT™. Now 33 years old, he is focused solely on honoring his master’s tradition by defending the title — not through chaos, but through discipline and mastery.
